A photo of a child dressed as an alien has gone viral on social media

The photo first went viral when it was shared by Jimmy Smith @angryallthetime with the caption "This child, whose teacher is an extraterrestrial, now thinks he is one!! The brainwashing and alien invasion is happening right before our eyes, why aren't more people outraged?"

Within a few days, the tweet racked over 2 thousand retweets and over 20 thousand likes. The photo, however, was actually taken from the Facebook account of the child's mother, depicting the kid right before she goes trick or treating. "Jimmy Smith" was later exposed as an alias of Joey Perkins, conspiracy theorist and owner of controversial blog Wake the Nation.

(Sidenote: Perkins was arrested in November of 2022)

It is unknown how Perkins found the post. The original Facebook post, though public, did not get much traction outside of the original posters small circle of Facebook friends. Due to an influx of harrassment, the original poster privated almost all of her posts, leaving only a plea for the harassment up before the account was deleted a few days later.

Both parties declined to comment on the situation when Truthfinderz reached out to them.
